As a QC Lead you are responsible for the supervision of all sample logistics area including retention sample storage, external lab test, QC documents control, shipment of QC samples 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversight/Perform on installation and qualification/ validation of QC equipment where applicable. Coordinating with the other departments delivering samples to ensure timely receipt of samples. 

  • This role is also required to supervise the review of laboratory data (external) and the closeout of deviations.

  • Responsible for initiation/review of Change Controls, Deviations/Investigation and SOPs (where applicable)

  • Responsible for data and logbook review.  

  • Customer and regulatory agency interaction as required 

  • Work intra/inter departmentally to enhance communications at all levels and ensure that work orders, preventative maintenance, compliance and documentation issues are resolved.  

  • Perform report writing (Example: Deviations/Investigations/Trending) and SOP revision. 

  • Perform annual performance evaluations of all direct reports. 

  • Provide continued coaching and developing of subordinates to help them meet both their career and personal development goals and to ensure a cohesive, productive and highly motivated team. 

  • Any other duties as assigned by your manager. 

Key Requirements: 

  • Degree or PhD in Biological Science / Engineering as appropriate for area of expertise 

  • 5+ years of experience in lab either in industry or academia. 

  • Developing a detailed understanding of the scientific rationale behind one or more technical areas involved in the development of biopharmaceuticals 

  • Understanding of cGMP regulations 

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with excellent communication skills and a team player.
