Executive Assistant cum Communications Specialist

The EA cum Comms Specialist will report to General Manager and collaborates with Human Resource function in executing strategic employee engagement and communication plans for promoting Lonza’s culture. The responsibilities include providing high-level secretarial to GM and curate organizational communication support, engagement and participation in company-wide events.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage GM’s appointments, schedules, minutes, travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Handle information confidentially and maintain the security of Executive’s records and files.
- Perform administrative duties timely and accurately, using independent judgement and discretion.
- Work closely with GM and HR office to curate and facilitate employee communication and engagement including prepare employee engagement announcement and activities, speeches, presentations, news releases, HR newsletter, and execution plan for various employee engagement projects.
- Creative in the use and applications of communication channels and tools to promote employer branding.
- Work closely with Corp/Global team to identify ways to increase company brand ambassadorship across employee base.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure internal communication messages align with intentions and overall communication plans.
- Responsible for development and creation of internal and external employee communications and programs.
- Involve in organizing company-wide engagement activities to build, maintain and foster an engaged employee population.
- Proactively gathers employee feedback and recommends/develops programs through surveys to positively influence employee engagement and knowledge.
- Coordinate and support partnership with external training provider, tertiary institutions and government agencies to position Lonza as an Employer of Choice.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Key requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in a general business discipline or similar.
- Possess exceptional fluency in English, showcasing outstanding proficiency in speaking, writing and communication skills.
- Proven experience supporting senior Level Executives, in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate matrix and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to details.
- Highly resourceful and proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands.
- Strong proficiency in the whole suite of MS Office.
- Team player, meticulous, responsible, collaborative able to work independently.
- Tech savvy - especially in software such as MS Office Suite, MS Teams and etc.
- Willing to work in Tuas.
