Analyst QC Product Testing (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Quality Control Laboratory team at Porrino site, in the Northwest of Spain. The QC Analyst will be responsible for Analytical/Biochemistry testing in the QC Lab. Role requires an understanding and execution of ELISA methods and other assigned techniques and methods which may include Appearance, HPLC-based methods, IEF, IEX, SEC, PCR, CE, SDS-PAGE, osmolality, potency methods and other physiochemical methods.
Key responsibilities:
To prioritize and perform the various testing/analysis in timely manner, in order to support the business requirements.
Analysis of the products according to Standard Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
Documentation of results in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Understanding and execution of compendial monographs and the chemistry fundamentals behind methods.
Involvement in method transfers and validation.
Execution and review of routine testing, transfer testing, and stability studies to support qualification, validation of new bioanalytical methods and release of biotherapeutics drug substance.
Problem solving of analytical methods as well as troubleshooting of equipment.
Involved in equipment qualification and technical selection of QC equipment and/or standards and reagents.
Assay trend analysis, document revision and update.
General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, lab supplies ordering, management of glass wares, etc.
Key requirements:
Degree/Diploma in a relevant Chemistry, Biotechnology, Science field or Equivalent.
Relevant work experience preferably with Lab experience in a biotech or medically related field.
Proven High Level experience and expertise hands-on in execution of ELISAs methods. Provide support in equipment maintenance and qualification.
Hands-on experience and expertise in analytical methods such as size-exclusion, ion exchange, reverse and normal phase HPLC, ELISA, CE-SDS, UV/VIS and other related protein characterization techniques. Both for execution and interpretation of results.
Ability to understand analytical methods and to execute routine testing on analytical samples according to Standard Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
Language: good English Level to be able to read and understand methods written in English, specifically reading in English required. Minimum B2.
Good communication skills.
Able and willing to work on morning/afternoon shifts.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to acquire knowledge in an agile way, based on critical reasoning, analytical skills and organization.
Attitude to work in a demanding, orderly and methodical way, worrying about the rigor of the rules.
