OT Team Leader

Established in May 2019, Lonza Biologics Ltd. is another wholly owned enterprise of Lonza Group in China. The company has completed the construction of its strategic biomanufacturing base in Sino-Singapore Knowledge City of Guangzhou Development Zone (SSGKC), and started up in Q2, 2021. This multifunctional site offers both clinical and commercial supply with an area of 17,000m2 including 6,500m2 of lab space and one KUBio facility. As Lonza's ninth biologics facility, the Guangzhou site will extend Lonza Pharma & Biotech’s global biologics network that provides customers with integrated solutions from pre-clinical development to commercial production, to address the growing demand for high-quality CDMO services in China.
Key responsibilities:
- Team management:
- Lead the Lab system team members, monitor the team KPI and ensure to meet the target and business expectation
- Distribute tasks to team members and provide guidelines and support when needed
- Coach and train up the team member on technical skill and soft skill, strive to continue improving the team performance
- Maintain smooth communication with different stakeholders
- Routine Support:
- Provide hands-on operational support for existing global and local lab applications: trouble shooting, out-of-the-box configurations, backup, system admin, periodic review and so on
- Based on business requirements create/modify lab system relevant documents: SOP, process flow, configuration documents and so on.
- Perform help desk functions for general problems, including technical analysis, resolution, escalation, and coordination. Provide trainings as requested.
- Follow up deviation, CAPA, change request
- Support audit
- Perform other duties as assigned by superior
- Project Support:
- Support global lab system team or local business team to implement new applications or systems.
- Provide technical input and directions during project design and equipment selection.
- Create robust test plans and scripts, execute testing, support user acceptance testing, and perform production rollout.
- Support system validation
- Take over knowledge from global lab system team and transform to local routine support process
Key requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in pharmaceutical or analytical related majors
- Solid QC\QV working experience, familiar with cGMP experience on lab instrument operation is preferred.
- Strong Experience of laboratory computer systems such as LIMS, Empower, SoloVPE, ICE, CE etc
- Specialist / Super User / SME in a knowledge management software, electronic laboratory notebooks or laboratory information systems is preferred
- Experienced user of MS Office software
- Good Knowledge to Computer Systems Validation(CSV)
- System implementation, documentation and maintenance.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks
