Lonza Walkersville is IMMEDIATELY hiring a Supply Chain Analyst / Project Leader to work within end-to-end supply chain processes and the data that support operational results.  This Supply Chain Analyst / Project Leader will be accountable for coordinating and executing improvement projects across diverse business groups.

The Supply Chain Analyst / Project Leader will lead or participate on cross functional teams aimed at value improvement initiatives to increase service, reduce cost and risk achieving business and divisional plans. Also, will create and execute methodologies to leverage data to measure performance, model outcomes and generate proposals to achieve desired divisional outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for coordinating data and organizing information within Supply Chain processes and practices.
  • Utilizes and compiles data from various systems/repositories (SAP, Power BI,) to meet internal/external reporting needs.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives with regular tracking, develop dashboards, interactive visual reports, and data analysis in Power BI
  • Maintains reporting documents, files, correspondence, meeting minutes and other appropriate and applicable documents, databases and corresponding logs.
  • Manages workloads, deadline requirements, and dedicated resources to meet the needs of internal/external customers with respect to reporting, analysis and ad-hoc data requests.
  • Work cross-functionally and leverage various data sources to proactively identify, quantify, and prioritize hypothesis testing experiments to increase identified metrics and practices.
  • Proactively identify and report possible process and/or technology improvements.
  • Share learnings across teams; present findings and strategy recommendations modeling expected outcomes to Executive Stakeholders.
  • Excellent data metrics skills with the ability to prepare, process, analyze and visualize significant amounts of information from multiple data sources while keeping the big picture in mind.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or Project Management, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management and technical writing experience creating or editing SOPs, writing deviations leading to changing and implementing procedures and tracking for matrixed projects required;
  • Must be able to give presentations on demand to facilitate solutions and drive initiatives from data findings through data analysis.
  • Must have Project Management experience for oversight and execution for continuous improvement projects.
  • Excellent data analysis capabilities to include Excel, SAP query writing, Power BI, data visualization and reporting, preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate analyzing data to create process maps.
  • Must be able to execute and track progress of new or changing procedures for matrixed staff and collaborate with SMEs of cross-functional teams at other sites while acting as the execution on to the Project Management Team.
