We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics solution lead with project management experience to join our data team in CoE digital department. The BI and Data Analytics solution lead is a key hands-on role in data, BI and analytics initiatives including build and run tasks. This position will liaise with internal and external stakeholders on a broad spectrum of business intelligence and data analytics topics including data modelling, data integration, data visualization, data management, self-service analytics etc. for various processes organization wide

Description :

  • Analyze and prioritize user requirements, advise internal stakeholders in terms of IT solutions for Reporting and Analytics, approve concepts and specifications, organize and facilitate workshops, oversee configuration and customization of systems, work out test plans, contribute to the creation of test scripts, test execution and training documentation, lead trainings and data migration activities, control global process and system governance, adhere to GMP and quality policies.
  • Manage the development service in projects. Partner with system development providers, train them in terms of Lonza standards and guidelines, perform the hand-over of technical specifications, advise and monitor the realization of software programming, perform quality control of deliverables.
  • Organize the integration of system enhancements into existing IT business applications: Liaise with internal customers, ensure testing and transfer into productive operations. Responsible to transfer new applications to the support organization. Delegate common incidents and problems to the IT support organization. Provide 3rd level support for complex incidents. Contribute to the resolution of critical / urgent incidents. Organize professional solutions of problems.
  • Take over accountability for a specific functional area / IT system module. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Lonza custom IT business applications. Get familiar with the newest generation IT solutions and advise internal partners on innovative IT technologies.
  • Manage the delivery for IT application activities and contribute to the solution of complex support requests and organize professional problem management.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of IT solutions and ensure adherence with Lonza standards and guidelines.

Key requirements:

  • Expertise in Microsoft AZURE (Synapse, ADLS, ADF), SQL DB, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI
  • System configuration and/or customization knowhow
  • Excellent understanding of the business processes and concepts being used
  • Business analysis, documenting the requirements and specifications in the specific areas.
  • Conceptual thinking
  • IT project methodology
  • Analytical skills, Data Warehouse Modeling, Complex data transformation, Unified model on company key dimensions
  • BW /SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Python, PySpark is a plus
  • Knowledge in Data Lake built
  • Teaching ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Presentation and moderation skills
