As a Logistics Section Lead you will ensure all the warehouse and logistics operating areas are operated in a safe, cGMP manner at all times and be representative for any Tech transfer for warehouse and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in selection process and regular review with Suppliers, Contractor, Logistics Service provider to ensure a portfolio analysis to identify potential risk and opportunities on supply. Risk include on supplier stability in their production capabilities, capacity and future business development. Opportunity include strategy on stable material supply via feasible value stream program that ensure quality and cost efficiency.

  • Actively develops direct reports and build high performing CGT SCM team and define responsibilities of individuals and groups within operations.

  • Ensure all inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved internally and external customer.

  • Lead representatives in area audits (internal and external)

  • Plan and oversee daily area operations and ensure smooth workflow in terms of receipt, storage and shipment.

  • Ensure GDP compliance at all times and ensure Training adherence per company policy.

  • Streamline area processes and work flows to increase area efficiency.

  • Ensure Warehouse and Logistics SOPs are current and create new ones as needed, including Risk Assessment as required.

  • Ensure and implement control in managing raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent losses and/or scrap.

  • Ensure adherence to Departmental SOPs and Company Policy including Data Integrity

  • Ensure that all inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and functions within site and platform to ensure Raw Material and consumable readiness for Tech Transfer project.

  • Ensure area personnel have adequate training in relation to their position.

  • Assign area task and duties to appropriate personnel.

  • Streamline area process and work flows to increase efficiency on Warehouse and logistics operation.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in SCM, Logistics or any relevant discipline

  • Working experience in directly related field of similar technology level (i.e. Inventory management systems / Quality systems) or GMP related background involving API’s

  • Good knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures

  • Supervisory or leadership experience

  • Familiar with SAP - WM module

  • Advanced understanding of computer systems (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Dangerous Goods regulation / IATA / TradeNet

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

  • Proven ability to train and provide direction to others.

  • Good decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good coordination skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.

  • Ability to train area personnel on area processes.

  • The role requires employee to perform this role that requires to visually differentiate and identify colors and requirement is to have normal colour vision.
