Engineering Planner

The Engineering Planner will be responsible for scheduling maintenance and calibration work activities, co-ordinate with external service providers, internal equipment owners and engineering teams to deliver the Engineering maintenance program. The successful candidate will also manage reactive work orders and support the administration process by ensuring GMP paperwork procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build work packages to enable Engineering Technicians and External Service providers to execute planned and reactive work orders.

  • Purchasing of spare parts and booking service engineers

  • Provides input to schedule of works in conjunction with planning team, supervisors, Manufacturing and Development teams.

  • Responsible for monitoring target/critical dates to ensure compliance is maintained (EHS, GMP and Business)

  • Reviewing work completion history and feedback to continually improve work pack quality.

  • Develop work pack library for corrective / reactive works

  • Identify opportunities to optimise maintenance costs

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements:

  • Well organized and able to manage a number of activities during the working day

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience working within a team environment and with key stakeholders

  • Experience working in GMP environment

  • Accurate and complete data generation and reporting
