Postdoc/Postgrad QA Specialist Business Process CAPEX Projects

In order to support our global growth we are looking for Postdocs / Postgraduates to support our strategic growth project portfolio and drive business process related topics within our quality organization. The main responsibilities are listed below, but not limited to and might be adapted depending on project priorities.
This 2-year contract position is based in Visp Switzerland, the site is easily commutable from Sion or Bern and the Bernese Oberland (35 minutes by train from Thun). Visp, also known as the sun center of Switzerland, is located in the Swiss Alps close to Zermatt, Saas Fee and Cran-Montana – a beautiful area to go skiing in the winter or enjoying great views during hiking and biking tours in the summer.
Drive the implementation of global Performance Qualification standards across different Lonza sites
Coordinate & lead process improvement initiatives.
Support the definition and implementation of robust business processes related to the CAPEX project quality oversight.
Act as a key member in cross-functional project teams, by ensuring that cGMP and Lonza guidelines are followed and implemented during the entire phase of the project, from Ideation to Execution
Escalating issues in an open and timely manner and taking leadership for their resolution
Master or PhD degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or other related disciplines
Notion of biomanufacturing environment, cGMP requirements or Qualification and Validation is an advantage, but not required
Self-motivated individual with ability to solve problems, understand details and strategic vision, have strong analytical and investigative skills, provide pragmatic solutions with a collaborative approach
Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English required, German is an asset, any other language is a plus
