The incumbent is responsible for leading the end-to-end Supply Chain for the Lonza business across Supply & Demand Management, Stores, Warehousing and Logistics management, Import/Export activities– the incumbent will be the Supply Chain lead for the Capsule and Health Ingredients and Biosciences businesses in India and will be leading the Supply Chain team.
Understanding market dynamics and VOC, and aligning market needs with operational capabilities. Managing multiple internal budgets (procurement, warehousing, logistics, RM/FG inventory, etc.) and supporting company’s profitability goals through meeting and exceeding budget expectations
Building flexibility in end-to-end Supply Chain to provide the customer a better buying experience. Managing inventory through demand planning, monitoring the stocking policy, delivery commitment, trend analysis, ageing analysis and through periodical meeting with different stake holders.
Ensuring the right balance of demand and supply priorities / requirements and aligning the teams to the requirements. Identification of potential risks in the supply side from the perspective of capacity and bottlenecks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks. Reviewing & adhere organization policies, processes, procedures and make appropriate revisions for improvement. Resolving conflicts and deciding prioritization.
Annual Budgeting and ensure it adherence, Ensure risk mitigation by right ordering and proper agreements. Ensure OTIF deliveries to customers @ 95%+
Ensure optimum asset utilization, Inventory control and management (increase turns and inventory health year on year). Provide MIS reports to management.
Periodical audit of systems and procedures, adhere to all organizational policies related to ABAC, Quality, EHS, Code of Conduct, HR, etc. Strengthen internal processes to ensure meeting customer demand throughout the OTC and Production process.
The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions. Work is checked frequently. To performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments. The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments. The incumbent establishes methods and procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives and receives guidance in terms of broad goals. Only the final results of work are typically reviewed. The incumbent exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Qualified MBA with 15 years of experience in Supply Chain in handling demand planning, Logistics, Warehousing and Production, Planning & Control, inventory management into pharma or FMGC industry.

Lead a team of managers and analysts, Strong execution (ability to plan and take activities to closure)
