Automation and MES Support Specialist

    Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is looking for an experienced Automation & MES Support Specialist 2.  The Automation & MES Support Specialist Level 2 will focus on supporting internal customers on the day shift who use Syncade and DeltaV. This role is also responsible for performing tasks associated with the creation, maintenance, and upkeep of the Syncade and DeltaV Systems.

    Minimum Required Qualifications/Skills

    Education:

    Certificate or Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree - Science related discipline Preferred

    Experience

    • Biotech work environment
    • Biotech manufacturing experience
    • Controls/MES protocol experience Preferred
    • Conduct system troubleshooting on Syncade andControls systems
    • Validation activities for Syncade and DeltaV changes
    • Experience with Process Change Controls and closure of CAPAs
    • Experience developing technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and process automation systems
    • Experience with support resolution of equipment breakdowns and quality issues
    • Preform Technical analyses on manufacturing equipment
    • Experience with PI data analyses relevant to process expectations

    Skills:

    Excellent Communication Skills. Ability to effectively communicate via writing and oral communication at all levels. Express ideas effectively in individual and group situations (including non-verbal communication). Ability to communicate to internal and external personnel. Ability to secure relevant information and identify key issues and relationships from a base of information. Relate and compare data from different sources and identify cause and effect relationships. Ability to evaluate engineering problems and be able to devise cause and effect relationships and propose solutions.
