HR Project Manager, Digitalization

Lonza is constantly evolving as a business and as such our internal processes and systems need to continue to develop with it to ensure each function is able to perform and provide a best-in-class service to our internal and external customers across the world. In alignment with this we have now identified the need for a global HR Project Manager who will manage key global HR projects with a particular focus on automation and digitalization. The global HR Project Manager will have the opportunity to shape further HR's digital agenda, accelerate automation and provide a significant contribution to the future landscape of our HR function as we look to optimize our processes along the employee lifecycle and become streamlined in a global environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end project management for HR Automation projects, including planning, executing and monitoring activities until successful completion
  • Prepare an accurate budget for a project after scoping
  • Monitor project progress with a detailed plan
  • Liaise and communicate with various teams globally in order to design٫ develop٫ and implement projects in a timely manner.
  • Deliver project activities meeting high quality and time standards.
  • Develop support documentation which includes requirement specifications and risk logs.
  • Communicate well with your project team to ensure that all team members are on board with various portions of the project or task.
  • Highlight potential risks and work diligently in an effort to resolve any issues.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance and improve current HR processes via the use of digital or automated methods and be able to share and present these with a number of key stakeholders globally, with a particular focus on e-filing and workflow optimization
  • Closely  collaborate with the Global Process Owners, fully understanding the benefits, challenges and impact of any proposed changes
  • Champion the use of digital/automated systems in support of the Future Workplace
  • Research, Plan and Execute in collaboration with various functions

Key requirements:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Able to lead through influence
  • Conceptional Forward thinking
  • Previous experience in a HR, Finance, IT function within a large matrix organization, preferably with a global footprint
  • Key contributor or owner of HR projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard HR processes and policies
  • Knowledge and understanding of global HR platforms Workday, ServiceNow and comparable digital enablers
  • Ability to plan and execute a project from initial concept through to implementation
  • Use character to support with project integration, able to confidently handle any queries or challenges during implementation
  • Well organized with appreciation for timing and deadlines
