Manager Quality Environmental Monitoring (f/m/d)

For our Campus in the middle of the Swiss Alps, we are looking for the Manager (f/m/d) of our Quality Environmental Monitoring Team. Our group of QA Environmental Monitoring Experts is ensuring the cleanroom status for the GMP-compliant manufacturing of pharmaceuticals (DS/DP) for the entire site, making a central contribution to the compliance of facilities and utilities, interacting closely with QC, MCC and other stakeholders, as well as with global quality functions.
The position is based in Visp Switzerland, the site is easily commutable from the Bernese Oberland (40 minutes by train from Thun). Visp, also known as the sun center of Switzerland, is located to Zermatt, Saas Fee, Verbier and Crans-Montana – a beautiful area to go skiing in the winter or enjoying great views during hiking and biking tours in the summer.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and develop the QA Environmental Monitoring experts team
Ensure compliance of quality relevant cGMP deliverables (risk analyses, reports, SOPs, etc.)
Perform assessment of deviations and CAPAs, data analysis & trending
Oversight Environmental Monitoring validation activities for strategic growth projects (CAPEX)
Support innovation initiatives and lean management
Participate as SME in audits and inspections
Key requirements:
Ph.D. or Master of Science in the field of biology, microbiology or in a comparable scientific field
Extensive experience in quality assurance and/or quality control in the regulated pharmaceutical industry, ideally in the field of environmental monitoring
Experience in managing stakeholders at different management levels and good ability to organize various requirements
Experience in the effective use of hard and soft skills in all aspects of management
English language, German knowledge is an advantage
