Lonza in Tampa, FL is searching for an experienced Program Manager (PM) to join our impressive Program Management team. As our PM, you will be responsible for actively managing project activities for multiple projects, either within one or multiple technologies, and oversees the complete lifecycle of all your projects.  Key focus will be on customer centricity, quality, cost, profitability, timeliness, and risk management. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Implement and maintain a streamlined and harmonized approach to for customer projects.
  • Serves as the primary interface between the customer and the Lonza site operations and commercials teams.
  • Responsible to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional project teams and effectively communicate and influence all key stakeholders.
  • Accountable to understand the technological background of the program to lead, manage, challenge, and support internal teams.
  • Maintain the financial outlook of the program.

Key requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering related field.
  • Substantial Project Management experience is required; PMP certification preferred.
  • Substantial experience with project management or technical expertise (with project involvement) within the manufacturing pharmaceutical field (R&D, MSAT, or manufacturing experience). 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with ability to influence people and outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
