Supply Chain Planner

This person will partner and work closely with Business Management, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, IT and Finance.

The successful candidate will create, develop, prioritize, and drive solutions that result in end-to-end supply chain processes for the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies;
  • Work with product managers and development teams to develop business requirements for all supply chain processes;
  • Ensure that the Allocation Team is supported with enough information in order to have better inventory stores control;
  • Clearly communicate and explain end-to-end supply chains (inputs, outputs, rationale, gaps), guiding senior management and team to solutions;
  • Develop supply chain metrics to track performance and accuracy;
  • Perform complex data analysis to identify opportunities and set priorities;
  • Develop new analytical models for demand/supply forecasting based on segmented supply chain solutions.
  • Plan Inventory Capacity
  • Chair S&OP meetings calls with Operations, Suppliers, Quality and Finance
  • Assessing the financial structure and inventory storage capabilities of the business.
  • Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions.
  • Creating inventory reports and presenting suggestions to the supply chain manager.
  • Suggesting changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand.
  • Define inventory strategy based on service proposition exception and/or indicate tradeoffs.

Key requirements:

  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Experience with statistical analysis.
  • SAP experience will be considered an asset
  • Material planning and inventory management knowledge will be considered an asset
  • English Advance is a must
