Project Engineer (m/f/d) - Planning

The LBP plant investment program (CAPEX) is highly complex and requires a high level of resources to deliver business growth and maintenance projects. The Project Engineer (m/f/d) Planning is responsible for the Project Planning of the site CAPEX portfolio from initiation to closure ensuring that Time risks are under control or appropriately escalated.
Lead the Planning process for the assigned CAPEX projects led by the Project Managers by preparing preliminary planning and baseline schedules for approval by project teams including internal resources workload
Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely activity data is incorporated in the schedule and resources are balanced
Provide leadership for project planning & scheduling activities and facilitate interactive meetings as required by the project team
Assess impacts to the critical path (and near-critical paths) and report to the project team
Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist the Project Manager in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action
Prepare project progress reports and other deliverables, procurement and / or resources status reports on a periodic basis.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related.
More than 5 years of experience in CAPEX projects plan & execution in Pharma & Biotech or related industry (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Fine Chemicals, Food & Beverage) involved in Planning of a large CAPEX projects portfolio (>10-15 MEUR).
Spanish (Native Speaker) and English (Business Fluent, B2 min).
Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel
Understanding of operations within a biopharma facility and up-to-date with current good engineering and manufacturing practices, regulatory trends and advances in technology is a plus
