For the expansion of our Engineering Department we are currently looking for a Operational Technology Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for all operational technology related tasks in our lab and manufacturing site.  You will be closely working with the IT Department, Manufacturing and Engineering team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on operational support (technology, out-of-the-box configurations, process and content) for installed solutions.

  • Author GxP business and technical requirements, use cases, process flow document, create robust test plans and scripts, execute testing, support user acceptance testing, and perform production rollout.

  • Responsible for the data integrity and quality/compliance of the core informatics systems

  • Support the end user base in using the above software/systems, to assist in search, transformation and reporting of scientific data to customers and management.

  • Perform high level system administration of OT systems: managing the user roles, including their configurations, security rights and access rights

  • Perform help desk functions for more complex problems, including problem tracking, analysis, resolution, escalation, and coordination

  • Integrate OT software to the Lonza network

  • Consult design and give recommendations and standards for design prior purchase request

Key requirements:

  • Vocational or Bachelor's degree in engineering/ control technology, industrial automation or ICT.

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position within the food and/or process industry, automotive or industrial automation projects.

  • Demonstrable experience with Software configuration in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with specifications design to instruct the Vendors
