The IT/OT Infrastructure Manager manages and supports the Singapore IT/OT Infrastructure and oversees the day-to-day delivery of services according to the defined SLAs and processes, align with the Global and Regional approach.

Role requires strong cooperation with the following partners to ensure operational efficiency and service delivery to; IT/OT Infrastructure CoE’s team and external IT service providers, IT Security & Compliance team and APAC Regional IT/OT Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Focus on the IT/OT Infrastructure problem resolution and provide the day-to-day delivery of services to business users according to the defined SLAs and following the defined processes.
  • Working closely with all related vendors to ensure the service continuity on all IT/OT Infrastructure.
  • Monitor effective implementation of all IT/OT Infrastructure projects and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Handle complaints and escalations when deviations occur in IT/OT Infrastructure delivery of service.
  • Drive process excellence and continuous improvement on IT/OT Infrastructure.
  • Support all the GMP activities related to IT/OT Infrastructure, including the internal/external audit.
  • Support the business to ensure relevant systems are GMP compliance. 
  • Provide the IT/OT infrastructure support and related trainings to the users.
  • Participate in the IT/OT Infrastructure projects and meetings for Singapore and the APAC region.
  • Manage stakeholder communications as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technologies or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of IT architecture, IT security, ITIL, IT governance and GMP validation.
  • Strong  IT, OT and/or business domain expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and processes, including manufacturing, digital plant, shop floor systems, quality lab systems, data historians and automation systems.
  • Knowledge in networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of IT Security regulations and guidance, including risk, control frameworks and standards.
  • Knowledge of current IT Security trends.
  • Hands-on IT and OT Infrastructure Manager with technical engineering and process management skills, influencing positive transformation within IT organization.
  • Hands-on experience in managing IT and OT infrastructure operations across multiple discipline in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in technology delivery with SME for IT and OT in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with a broad range of technologies required – such as  Nutanix, Vmware, EMC Storage –  to support IT and OT infrastructure.
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Technical Operations and a good understanding of market challenges and competitive advantages.
  • Experience working with outsourced teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and quickly resolve issues.
  • Effective prioritization and project management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
