In order to drive the growth ambitions of our Small Molecules Business the Lonza 2.0 supply chain transformation plays a key role in this journey. It’s important to have the right process flows in place and to use state-of-the art technologies and systems to ensure highly efficient interactions among different functions involved in the end to end supply chain. The role of the Demand Management Specialist will be key to setup and perform short and long-term panning scenarios, to support the increasing complexity of the Demand Planning and S&OP Process as well as the implementation of the new IBP planning tool.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the demand plan in systems, including updating existing demand

  • Deeper understanding of the data flows between IBP, SAP ECC, SAP BW and legacy applications to troubleshoot or analyze

  • Maintain all demand related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems

  • Create and maintain demand related KPIs and use as basis for demand planning improvement initiatives

  • Key User SAP – IBP (deep knowledge on Demand Planning module). First point of call for any other users who need support, training gaps, functional issues

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar

  • Experience in Supply Chain as well as a solid background in operations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis

  • Ability to use demand planning systems (e.g. SAP IBP) to create and maintain demand planning module

  • Ability to utilise Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports
