Perform all duties to ensure the Materials Requirements Plans are completed to ensure the timely availability of materials to support the product Supply Plan. Responsible to liaise with all key functions to ensure timely updates to material plans considering changes to plans or material availability issues

Responsible for creation and managing new part set-up, recipe, specification sheets, BOMs, required production documents and changes within the ERP (SAP) System.  Responsible for training of stakeholders/DPS employees on standard and best practices

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform all routine tasks to convert planned orders into material plans including the creation and management of material planned requirements

  • Creation and maintenance of detailed material planning parameters in Planning systems

  • Conversion of the material requirements plan (purchase requisitions) into Purchase Orders and ensuring material availability

  • involved with inbound material processing

  • Creation and management of material related KPIs and measures to ensure accurate understanding of material availability

  • Track, report and facilitate on-time material availability including testing and release for production

  • Manage the ERP Process/ Data Management for creation and maintenance of part codes in SAP (Material Master).

  • Manage the ERP Process/ Data Management Team for creation and modification of BOMs, Recipes, resources, COA Profiles, Inspection Plans and Inspection Characteristics in SAP.

  • Ensure SOPs related to new part set-up, BOM, recipes are up to date and usable.

  • Measure operational performance and adjust process data (recipes, BOMs) accordingly in the SAP system.

  • Leverage our ERP system to drive standardization in the BOM and recipe

  • process.

  • Liaise with Liaison with Supply Planner, Schedulers, Project Management, Purchasing and SMEs to determine best methods and materials for manufacturing.

Key requirements:

  • Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support BU and site supply planning and site manufacturing strategy recommendations

  • Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis

  • Competent using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to utilise Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports
