Key responsibilities:

  • Utility Department Equipment Operation and Maintenance (All Equip. related to Air/ Purified Water / Steam/Power Distribution from Utility till Production Area)

  • Plant Facility Maintenance – Including Building / Painting / Civil maintenance related jobs

  • Department Budgeting (OPEX & CAPEX)

  • Business Objective Setting for department associates including direct reports and self

  • Capital Expense Budgeting, Estimate & CPA Launching and generation for approval

  • Process Optimization, project management and execution – Driving continuous improvement culture using lean methodologies, like Kaizen or Poka-Yoke etc.

  • Project Handling- Utility and Production area related Facility installation projects / Energy Saving Projects

  • Driving compliance to prevailing EHS guidelines & statutory compliance

  • Conducting TNI & impart / arrange trainings for team capability building

  • Cost Evaluation (Utility COGS Contribution) and controlling within the budget

  • MIS Generation – Department Operation Cost based and reporting

  • Shutdown planning & management on periodic basis

  • Other Department support – EHS & Quality Department

Key requirements:

  • Masters/ Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Utilities Management in Pharmaceutical & Food Ingredient industries

  • Experienced in Electrical Equipment assessment related to operation and maintenance

  • Experienced in Utility Operational parameter assessment related to operation and maintenance

  • Demonstrates high integrity and accountability in ensuring team(s) actions and decisions are aligned to business objectives

  • Provides coaching to enable/accelerate successful outcomes
