QC Sr. Lead, Program Coordinator

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is searching for an experienced QC Sr. Lead, Program Coordinator to join our growing QC team. The QC Sr. Lead acts as a liaison between the Quality Control Laboratory and its internal and external customers. This is a fast-paced role with changing priorities, so you will need to have a drive to help get things completed.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participates on multiple customer project teams as the Quality Control representative
  • Tracks and compiles product data to present to internal and external customers and drives associated process change controls and deviations
  • Coordinates efforts between manufacturing, customer and Quality Control to assure that testing is prioritized, completed on time and communicated in an effective and timely manner
  • Creates, revises and reviews Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) documentation including stability protocols and reports
  • Coordinates and compiles Quality Control data for Quality Assurance/Quality Control management review and the timely release of product
  • Assisting with training and development of team members
  • May support other stability studies and LIMS system as needed

Key Requirements: 

  • Associates or Bachelors degree. Area of study in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Related Science Fields
  • Strong working experience within cGMP industry; a background in a QC laboratory is preferred
  • Previous experience using GMP Quality Systems (ex. TrackWise, LIMS)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and projects
  • Strong computer, organizational and project management skills
  • Customer facing experience and customer service mentality
  • Experience in team leadership and/or training
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and/or taking appropriate actions
