Management of a lab for lipid nanoparticle (LNP) manufacturing process development in Basel. Builds a team that is responsible for (i) the successful development, implementation, and optimization of LNP manufacturing processes and analytical methods for clients (ii) transfer of processes and analytical methods for LNP manufacturing to small scale cGMP manufacturing facility. Accountable for the team’s performance and delivery of results. Responsible for planning and cost control and significant contributions to budgeting process and policy development.
Responsible for the set-up, organization, technical assessment and prioritization of the process development and analytical development lab activities
Coordinates the various early LNP projects, allocates resources to the projects based on project lifecycle, evaluated resource and agreed upon priorities
Ensures that all activities are following the phase-adequate regulatory requirements
Ensures the compliance with safety requirements maintaining a safe working environment
Ensures that the personnel and assets deliver high quality development services to customers within the agreed timelines and costs
Extensive experience with development of LNP manufacturing processes and the corresponding analytical method development and their transfer into routine small scale cGMP environment
Previous technical competency in the areas of the Pharma Industry e.g. process development, cGMP manufacturing, process registration, analytical science, Quality assurance etc.
Operational and technical project management experience.
Proven business awareness and commercial acumen.
Record of accomplishment of successfully managed projects.
Motivational skills to maintain naturally high moral within the matrix team.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the organization. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
Effective use of hard and soft skills in all aspects of Program Management including conflict resolution, team building, decisions making.
