Global Supply Planning CoE Specialist, LPBN (m/f/d)

Randstad Inhouse Services is looking for a Global Supply Planning CoE Specialist, LPBN (m/f/d) for Lonza AG (100%). This is a temporary position for 24 months. This role is based in Basel, remote work is possible too.

In this role, you are responsible for supporting the development and deployment of Global Standard processes and technical design of all activities relating to Supply Planning for LPBN division. Furthermore, you will identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement in Supply Planning processes and systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the prototype and deployment of Supply Planning processes in the Business Unit and Sites, as part of the Integrated Supply Chain 

  • Support the design of the systems functionality to support the Supply Planning processes as part of integrated Global Supply Chain project

  • Co-ordinate the configuration and localization of the global standard solutions suitable for application in all BUs and sites

  • Develop the training material and the training modules. Deliver the training to local teams in all Supply Planning related processes as part of global project

  • Develop Supply Planning documentation and materials to form part of Supply Chain Roll-out package and training programs

  • Identify and support strategic initiatives to ensure Supply Planning processes contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives across the division

Key requirements:

  • University degree (Msc preferred) in Supply Chain Management / Business management

  • Extensive work experience in Supply Chain Planning

  • CPIM certification preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis.

  • Strong process mapping and reengineering skills.

  • Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support Supply Planning initiatives.

  • Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to develop and deliver training material to a wide multicultural audience.

  • Competent using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to utilise Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports and use this information to develop solutions for business challenges, and supply planning parameters

  • At least basic SAP knowledge in the area of SD and MM
