Manager Operating Logistics (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Manager Operating Logistics (m/f/d) at the Visp site. In this position you are responsible for the planning and implementation of the logistical processes of four biopharmaceutical production lines in the area of microbial operations including the management of a team of approx. 5-6 employees.
Management and coaching of the employees who report to you within the support logistics group
Responsibility for the material flow (chemical material / consumables / waste) in the company in compliance with the applicable regulations
Support of the production team in all questions of logistics (raw material procurement, incoming goods, warehouse organization, packaging, shipping, etc.)
Responsibility for the cold chain of the products and all storage areas inside and outside the company including day storage, refrigerated containers, tank farms and storage areas
Opening, closing and control of process orders (PRAUFs), CO, Q orders and monthly closing for ongoing projects
Knowledge of logistics or appropriate training is an advantage
Experience in chemical or biotechnological production under GMP
Understanding of business and financial processes
Leadership skills, strong team orientation and communication skills
Structured, focused and well organized work ethic
Solution-oriented, open to new ideas and suggestions
In-depth knowledge of Lonza's internal systems (SAP / Trackwise / DMS / LIMS / MES)
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
