The Senior Project Manager, Finance, will play a key role in enabling the two Shared Service Centre’s automation and process excellence roadmap. Projects migrating transactional finance activities from the local markets into the Shared Service Centres is also an important part of the Global Business Support Organisation project portfolio.

The successful candidate will lead innovation and migration projects within the Business Support Organization in the EMEA and Americas regions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Together with project sponsor developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Effective communication of status and risks ensuring internal stakeholder accountability and awareness.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in two of four of the following types of projects, within Financial processes, Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence project management, Change Management or Global Software Implementation. (including managing project budgets)

  • Business Process knowledge in areas such as Source-To-Pay, Record-To-Report or Order-To-Cash

  • An acknowledged PM qualification (APMP, PMP, Prince2), or similar experience

  • SAP experience SAP4Hana, would be an advantage

  • Lean 6 Sigma, would be an advantage

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once to meet deadlines
