Procurement Change and Training Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity for a talented procurement professional to come into our organisation to act as the point of contact to give guidance to the organization on Procurement Change Management and Training.  This position is a stakeholder facing role and acts at all management levels. You will be setting global standards for change management in procurement projects and initiatives in close alignment with HR and with change management counterparts across the departments.  On the training side you will be responsible   for   identifying   training   needs, developing  training  curriculum,  develop/support  development  and  roll out of training package to procurement function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of business processes, systems and technology

  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities in project plans.

  • Provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through the transition

  • In collaboration with Internal Communication Team develop communication plans for identified initiatives and projects, including stakeholder analysis and management plans, resistance plans and team briefings

  • Continuously improve change management process in collaboration cross functional team in Change management (HR, GPOs, other functions)

  • Coach the Procurement/GBSO Organization in Lonza Change Management Methodology

  • Conducts Needs Assessments and gap analyses, and can drive program development or review.

  • Drive the implementation and monitoring of the learning strategy to ensure organizational effectiveness, achievement of business objectives and regulatory compliance

  • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders including Senior Management, Functional Leaders and Site Heads to gain alignment with strategy and curricula and to identify appropriate trainers and subject matter experts

  • Liaise with appointed external learning vendors to ensure that Standards for Learning are met in learning solutions being externally developed and that budgets and timelines are met

  • Consult with Global Procurement and S2P Global Process Owners (GPO) to develop learning programs that drive implementation and support acceptance

  • Plan and Implement the roll out of completed learning solutions

  • Summarize evaluation results and run reports on training metrics as require

Key requirements:

  • Understanding of different Procurement disciplines and how they integrate with each other

  • Knowledge of Project Management approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle, knowledge of the change process

  • Solid understanding of how people go through the change cycle

  • Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal

  • Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal, Conflict Management

  • Ability to coordinate activities globally

  • Strong Customer Focus

  • Ability to adapt to audience

  • Proven knowledge of the science of learning and instructional design.
