Analytical Scientist, Process Technology R&D

The Analytical Scientists will contribute to R&D Team goals by planning and executing scientific projects, and by generating and interpreting scientific data from experimental work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Able to conceptualize and design laboratory experiments within the scope of R&D team projects
  • Generates and documents scientific results
  • Takes responsibility for presenting data as a scientific specialist
  • Is a role model for regulatory and safety compliance in the laboratory
  • Provides on the job training and support for new and less experienced technical and scientific staff
  • Develops and understands standard experimental designs
  • Has responsibility for an allocation of work that they plan and organize to meet deadlines in accordance with current policies and guidelines
  •  Write and review documentation (GXP and non-GXP), including presentations, protocols, SOP’s and reports, as appropriate to level of experience

Key Requirements:

  • Must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries.
  • Proficient in analytical HPLC assays typical of Biologics analysis

    Protein A, SEC, N-glycan and iCIEF.

  • Bachelors degree in Science

  • Substantial degree of experience in Biotechnology Laboratory/Biomanufacturing
