LSI is looking for a Business Development Manager & Key Account Manager supporting our Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) team located remotely in the United Kingdom, Germany or Switzerland.
You will be responsible for the ongoing key account manager of the Proxel range for Crop Protection, whilst supporting certain global business development activities all within the Crop Protection market.
Develop direct relations, generate and execute account management strategies with key Proxel accounts in EMEA.
Provide market/business intelligence to marketing and product teams in identifying opportunities and threats to business, market and key customer accounts – focus on SEA and LATAM.
Actively pursue new business opportunities with new and existing customers and products in regions where defined.
Provide product management and product development support for new opportunities as defined.
Interface between Global Regional Managers and support sales plans where defined and aligned to European developments.
Generate and execute sales plans and strategies.
Development of supply proposals and contracts.
Regular travel throughout the region.
Participate in regional sales meetings.
Satisfy the needs of your customers with a high level of service and a continuous dialogue.
Strong network and experience in sales and new business development, sound understanding of new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services in the Crop Protection industry.
Background in industrial application of natural sciences (Biotech or Chemistry), and/or strong agricultural empathy including Crop Protection knowledge.
Strong technical, problem solving and communication skills.
Action oriented, with a positive attitude, creative, convincing, proactive in building and maintaining strong and trustful customer relationships.
Ability to think strategically, evaluate all information and make informed decisions and recommendations.
Act with high sense of urgency, strong in working autonomously and team collaboration skills.
Willingness for traveling approximately 30%.
