We are looking for a talented Finance Business Partner to join us in Slough, UK. You will hold a key position in the Lonza finance network, where you will be supporting our Development Services in all Financial Control, Planning and Analysis activities. You will play a crucial role in the efficient operations of the site and partner with senior management to deliver sales targets of over £100m. Your ambition and drive will see you deliver improved value creation, while providing support to the Manufacturing Controller, and being involved in standard costing, material and inventory management.
Provide a true Business Partnering presence in areas such as summarising financial data, highlighting changes, risks and developments within the business and proposing corrective measures
Prepare an annual budget and mid-term plan
Monitor and understand progress of actual data versus planned data and drivers for underlying variances
Working with stakeholders to clearly communicate and maximise opportunities
Undertake strategic initiatives and projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function
Timely delivery of all month end reporting requirements as designated by corporate, segment, business unit and operations, to include actuals and monthly forecasts.
Ensure integrity of the balance sheet and P&L statements for the development services reporting entities.
Ensuring compliance to internal control requirements and supporting internal and external audit requests.
Experience in Financial controlling/Finance Business Partnering roles and reporting in an international environment
Ability to build strong peer relationships quickly
Proven ability to objectively challenge and influence at all levels
Excellent communications skills (written and oral) at all levels of the organization
Ability to be proactive and embrace the concept of best practices for process improvement while adapting to a changing business environment
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and ability to prioritise and deliver quality work under tight deadlines
Strong Excel skills and capability to formulate complex financial reporting
Experience of SAP will be a distinct advantage
Degree educated, ideally within Finance, Accountancy or Economics
Must hold one of the following full professional qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CIMA
