As the Global Product Manager (GPM) you will support, Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) and you will be responsible for the following: Operative Pricing & Margin Management, Asset management and Value Chain Projects and General Product Stewardship, for the assigned line of chemical products, globally.
In addition, you will act as a bridging function between inbound (e.g. Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain…) and outbound focused functions (e.g. Marketing, Sales), facilitating information sharing and cooperation between all stakeholders.
Operative Pricing & Margin Management
Develops, implement and communicate pricing strategies and pricing tools, in alignment with the Marketing group
Performs a governance and compliance role regarding correct adherence to the defined pricing levels.
Asset Management and Value Chain Projects
Defines the asset strategy associated with the chemical portfolio, in order to support sustainable business growth.
Project lead or project member on new product commercialization or production site transfer initiatives.
Provides guidance on target costing to relevant operations and supply chain functions.
Drives gross profit optimization projects.
Oversees Product Master Data maintenance
Gatekeeper of new product code creations in ERP system (SAP)
Acts as main contact point to all internal functions on key matters pertaining to their portfolio
The position requires an estimated 10% travel requirement.
BS: Marketing, Business Management, Purchasing or Chemistry/Science Required
Masters Degree Preferred: Marketing, Business Management, Purchasing, Chemistry/science, preferred
Significant number of years experience:
Experience in a global organization in a B2B industry in: Commercial functions (Marketing / Sales), Product Management, Strategic Procurement or Category Management.
