Strategic Pricing & Business Analytics Manager

As a Strategic Pricing & Business Analytics Manager, you will be part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team within the Global Marketing Team for the Capsule and Healthy Ingredients division. You will lead a virtual team to identify market trends, implement revenue optimization opportunities and evaluate profitability of the various product-market combinations within the division. Working cross-functionally in the company, you will drive pricing and business analytics, recommend strategies and provide guidance. We are looking for an energetic professional who is passionate about evolving the pricing process and this way making a difference versus the competition.
One strategic goal of the Marketing team is to provide Global Pricing Guidance. In this role, you develop holistic pricing strategies to address competitive pressures and identify revenue and profitability improvement opportunities; (ex: enhance and maintain price-corridors for all products in the portfolio in the different regions, perform price analytics, etc.)
Develop a Pricing Center of Excellence supporting organizational process and tools & metrics and best practices to facilitate decision support;
Partner cross-functionally with the Strategy, Product Marketing, Sales Effectiveness and Finance teams to monitor pricing performance & effectiveness of changes, develop & implement improved efficiencies and create best-in-class pricing processes;
Develop fundamental customer analysis of purchasing patterns and profitability, by linking internal customer portfolio performance with external market data to identify opportunities, and by performing strategic analyses & benchmarking on key metrics including revenues, costs, margins and investment returns for all product lines, to support the go to market strategies in cooperation with other stakeholders;
Create product performance dashboards BI and lead quarterly review with cross functional teams
As part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, you cooperate with the other member of the team (Competitive Intelligence and Market Intelligence specialists) to evaluate risks or opportunities impacting pricing strategies and product business performance;
Manage stakeholders by creating buy-in among managers and interested parties, achieving compromises and communicating openly and effectively.
Proven knowledge & experience in pricing and business intelligence
Proven high ability with systems and data management
An expert in quantitative analysis with solid business insights
Global mindset with demonstrated ability to work with remote/virtual teams
Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills, demonstrated track record of harnessing data to drive decision making
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous environment
