IAM and Active Directory Engineer

Responsible for the technical implementation, the maintenance and the recovery procedures for IAM and Active Directory. Serves as a technical expert in the areas of IAM, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Contributes to the development and implementation of IT solutions. Interaction with external outsourcing providers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Run and monitor the hybrid Active Directory environments, the global PKI infrastructure, the IAM and the PAM solutions

  • Implementation of Access Management (SSO and MFA)

  • Ensure Disaster/Recovery and maintain security of systems and unauthorized access to systems

  • Ensure that systems are implemented and documented in compliance with Lonza’s standards and GMP

  • Definition of standard operating procedures and policies within the IAM and Active Directory team

Key requirements:

  • Knowledge in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, PKI, ADFS and LDAP (MSCA or MSCE recommended)

  • Knowledge in IAM and PAM solutions (Thycotic, Sailpoint)

  • Knowledge of fundamental networking, security and systems engineering concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing and SSL

  • Understanding of scripting or programming languages as Powershell and VB script

  • Teamwork skills: The engineer works with a team of IT professionals in executing his/her duties, so it is essentials that they can work closely with clients and internal teams to organize activities and drive technical development projects

  • Communication skills: The engineer must also possess good written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex cloud reports and technical concepts to users, clients, development teams, and management
