LSI is looking for a QC Lab Technician for our Rochester, NY facility. The QC Lab Technician will support Quality Control efforts and performs analytical tests in accordance with approved methods in a Quality Control environment adhering to strict GMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear understanding of GMP regulations

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize different tasks and be flexible

  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including overnight, weekend, and overtime shifts

  • Performs routine laboratory tests using established procedures and methods.

  • Performs sample/process calculations as requested.

  • Prepares chemical reagents and standard solutions

  • Follows all safety policies and procedures and actively promotes and encourages safe work practices

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree Chemistry or equivalent in a science discipline

  • 0-4 years experience in an analytical lab

  • Adhere to GMP documentation practices and Regulatory Standards

  • Must be knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations
