For Drug Product Services (DPS), our successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) branch, located in Basel, Switzerland and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing timely and accurate translation of customer needs into proposals of time, cost and quality

  • Create project proposals, timelines, plans, quotations and pricing by coordinating and working with multiple technical and operational groups

  • Ensure good understanding of customer requests and technical project needs

  • Assess feasibility as well as agree activities, resources, costs (including CAPEX) and timelines

  • Transcribe proposals into asset, resource and financial planning systems as appropriate

  • Provide value proposition, price and T&Cs to Sales in interaction with Commercial Development

  • Work with operational groups and finance to ensuring the planned and actual scope are as accurate as possible

  • Attend and lead customer meetings (on or off site)

Key requirements:

  • Significant industry experience in a Pharmaceutical company with parenteral Drug Product (formulation or process) development, analytics and/or manufacture

  • Substantial knowledge of clinical product development and commercialization of parenteral Drug Products as well as customer facing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, scientific projects and make sound scientific and regulatory interpretations and judgments

  • Proficiency in English required, German language skills beneficial

  • Extensive experience of program / project management within a scientific environment

  • Ability to identify creative commercial, workable solutions

  • Proven persuasive communication skills in a highly scientific and technical environment

  • Diplomacy, negotiation skills, independent work skills, strong work ethic

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, pressured environment
