For Drug Product Services (DPS), our successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) branch, located in Basel, Switzerland and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Handle all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related aspects for Drug Product Services
Maintain zero safety incidents and act as single point of contact for authorities, customers and other Lonza sites
Responsible for Global EHS, Lonza Emergency Communication (LECOM), change management, safety audits and trainings, insurance and SUVA regulations, as well as employee health checks
Take care of customer audits, EHS questionnaires, REACH certifications, supply safety, business continuity management
In charge of dangerous goods, risk assessments and emergency planning
Coordinate and execute weekly safety inspections, internal audits, and CAPA management
Regularly inspect containment strategy and handling of high potent or hazardous substances
Supervise Biosafety working with microorganisms and biological materials
Create and manage concepts for building and plant safety
Organize and maintain personal safety equipment for employees and visitors
Act as logistics representative for Drug Product Services
Execute supply-chain related SAP transactions, e.g., purchase requisition and good receipt for in-bound shipments, goods issue or out-bound shipments in alignment with Site Support logistics
University education or equivalent and training as safety engineer EKAS (SUVA) or comparable
Substantial experience in a EHS related position, preferably in in a pharma or biotech company
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with as well as high expertise of Adobe Acrobat-Pro and SAP
Ability to identify creative commercial, workable solutions
Strong and effective team player in matrix organizations across sites
Proven communication and organizational skills in a scientific and technical environment
Experience in working with a multi-national team.
Fluency in German and English
Self-driven, strong team player, innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, strong communicator, customer focused, can-do-attitude, good IT skills
