Data Analytics Expert for Internal Audits

We are currently looking for an expert in Data Analytics to join us in Basel working on Internal Audits.
Support internal audit assignments and/or run audits on assigned areas focusing on systematic data analytics, with the objective to confirm correctness and completeness of data, processes, controls and configurations. The mandate involves all kinds of business areas and departments, as well as special projects, and it aims at identifying potential risks and compliance gaps as well as opportunities for improvements and process standardizations across all company units worldwide.
Preference will be given to candidates with audit and/or data analytics experience in finance/controlling areas. He/she will be a trusted advisor and partner to the audit team, understanding business needs as well as audit requirements. Strong competencies are expected to challenge SAP related standards and leverage technology and analytics to support risk assessments and audit execution.
- Good level of understanding of SAP tables/reports
- Basic know-how of SAP BW
- Basic know-how of SQL programming (in order to extract, clean, refine datasets)
- Experience working with BI tools (PowerBI highly preferred; any BI certificate a plus)
- Good level of understanding of standard business processes like S2P, OTC, R2R and how to evaluate these with data analytics.
- English language skills verbally as well as written are absolutely essential.
Knowledge of data extraction from different data sources, data cleaning, data analyzing and building visualizations is an absolute must. Data warehouse/lake concept (AWS MS Azure etc.) and programming knowledge (SQL, Python, R etc.) is a plus. The application process will involve that expertise and capabilities can be demonstrated.
