We also provide performance intermediates & chemicals for many industrial applications, such as agro intermediates, food & feed ingredients, cosmetics, non-current good manufacturing practices (non-cGMP) intermediates, and custom development & manufacturing.

LSI is looking for a Marketing Manager in our Building Materials division. This role supports the overall Paints and Coatings regional marketing organization and manages the marketing mix of building materials product portfolio (additives for construction materials, adhesives, sealants) by aligning products and offerings with market needs, articulating value propositions, setting pricing guidelines, and executing market communications programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support regional financial objectives and business strategies. Assist internal and distributor sales teams to help achieve financial goals. Provide sales training on product/services/capabilities. Provide customer support as needed by account managers.  Coordinate business activities with appropriate internal teams. Initiate and manage marketing campaigns as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for new product ideas. Build business case to justify project resources. Provide commercial direction for technical and other teams to meet project deliverables. Help manage new product pipeline. Initiate and manage sales campaigns to launch new products and track financial KPIs. May serve as commercial lead for innovation projects in assigned markets.

  • Contribute to development and execution of marketing plans and business strategy. Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive actions and business needs. Provide input and direction regarding strategies for product and service offerings, business models, and pricing.

  • Assist in development and execution of marketing communications programs. Maintain up to date sales and marketing collateral. Provide launch and sales tools for new products.  Assist with execution of external communications.

  • Identify market informational needs. Execute research and analysis to support business growth initiatives. Develop market insights to support product value propositions and promotion, sales activities, and business strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business required

  • 5-10 years in Commercial experience- Marketing, Technical Sales, Product Management required

  • Strongly preferred – experience in the construction and building material additives industry

  • Travel up to 25%.
