Lonza in Visp is looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain Planning to join our team based in Visp, Switzerland.
Within this role you will lead a team of supply planners, material requirement planners and ERP data specialists to cover the entire planning process for Lonza LPBN in Visp. You will be responsible for all medium and short term planning processes to ensure fully integrated asset capacity planning, labor planning and material planning.
Actively drive harmonization and standardization across multiple sites and technologies with regards of Supply Chain Planning
Perform all duties to ensure the monthly Supply Planning processes are completed to support the integrated planning processes.
Lead and support the Supply Planning piece of the Global S&OP process for the specific business, ensuring all databases are maintained accurately and provide reports and analysis to support BU decision-making and reporting.
SME for the Supply Planning Tool (IBP).
Providing forecasting scenario integrating demand within operation capacities over a rolling 2 to 5 year time horizon.
Responsible for implementation and best practice for procedures and controls to manage the overall inventory levels and availability for all material types in site.
Responsible for the implementation of practices and control measure to improve the control of inventory within the site.
Experience in Supply Planning
Experience in line management
CPIM Certificate (or comparable Certifcate) preferred
Fluent in German and English
Profound knowledge of SAP system.
Ability to work in a matrix management environment
Ability to challenge status quo to improve processes
