LSI is looking for a FP&A Analyst in Basel, Switzerland or in the United Kingdom in Blackley, Castleford or Huddersfield. The FP&A Analyst is a key team member, supporting financial planning, analysis and decision support, as well as compliance and reporting for the Specialty Ingredients Segment (LSI). The Analyst works with the FP&A team, collaborates closely with respective BU and site controllers and other functional leaders. The Analyst ensures processes that maximize functional efficiency and transparency.
Organizes and manages relevant planning and analysis processes such as monthly forecasting, full year outlook, annual budgeting and mid-term planning
Support in monthly closing activities incl. management reporting
Analyze business performance, recommends benchmarks, highlights key opportunities and risks
Act as a finance business partner to segment functions and supports decision making through insightful analytical tools & modelling
Driving the automation and harmonization of reports and dashboards and data integrity
Involvement in projects and definition, implementation and roll-out of new finance tools and concepts
Shares global responsibility for financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS.
Degree in Controlling / Finance / Economics, CPA, CFA, ACCA or similar
Extensive experience in Finance and Controlling, ideally in a FP&A, Commercial or Operations Controlling role in a multinational environment of a manufacturing company
Exceptional analytical skills to support complex business analysis combined with strong communication / reporting capabilities
Engage strong business partnering, understand internal and external customer needs, usage of systematic approaches to ensure key metrics are tracked and analyzed for continuous improvement
Work in partnership as an active member within the team and cross- functional working groups
Strong database / systems knowledge with financial systems, reporting, planning and consolidation tools (SAP, HFM, SAP BW, OneStream)
Strong MS Excel skills required; Data modelling, programming and dashboarding skills desirable
Fluent English and German language skills.
