This is a temporary Fixed Term Contract.

Carry out the preparation, sterilization, filtration and packaging of the necessary media and solutions to cultivate and keep the cells in the conditions according to the specific production process, as well as the subsequent clarification of the crop, following at all times the procedures and requirements of the GMP regulations, until the obtaining the product prior to its transfer to the Purification Department.

In turn, when required, provide general supervision of the work group, assigning tasks specific and checking the development of the work maintaining the production schedule.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation and cleaning of the necessary equipment for use in sterile and operating conditions
  • specified (CIP, SIP, electrode standardization, pressure tests, integrity tests)
  • Maintenance and cultivation of the cells until the product is obtained.
  • Maintain optimal conditions and control the parameters of temperature, pH, osmolality, oxygen ...
  • Preparation of small and large-scale media and solutions.
  • Filter media under sterile conditions during the different phases of the culture to the fermenters or containers, and inoculate cells to the fermenters.
  • Transfer and centrifuge the cell culture for clarification to the collection tank.
  • Ensure that the process conditions conform to the specifications at all times.
  • Correct documentation of all activities associated with the process, complying at all times with operating procedures and GMP regulations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of improvement systems in the department in line with the Operational excellence.

Key requirements:

  • Medium or higher degree in mechanical specialty or demonstrable experience in the position.
  • Knowledge of the existing regulations in the Pharmaceutical industry, specifically GMPs.
  • Command of the English language (spoken and written).

Realizar la preparación, esterilización, filtración y envasado de los medios y soluciones necesarios para cultivar y mantener las células en las condiciones de acuerdo al proceso productivo específico, así como la posterior clarificación del cultivo, siguiendo en todo momento los procedimientos y los requerimientos de la normativa GMP, hasta la obtención del producto previo a su transferencia al Departamento de Purificación. A su vez, cuando sea requerido, proveer de una supervisión general del grupo de trabajo, asignando las tareas específicas y comprobando el desarrollo del trabajo manteniendo el programa de producción.

Principales responsabilidades:

  • Preparación y limpieza de los equipos necesarios para su utilización en las condiciones operativas y de esterilidad
  • especificadas (CIP, SIP, estandarización de electrodos, pruebas de presión, pruebas de integridad)
  • Mantenimiento y cultivo de las células hasta la obtención del producto.
  • Mantener las condiciones óptimas y controlar los parámetros de temperatura, pH, osmolalidad, oxígeno...
  • Preparación de los medios y soluciones a pequeña y gran escala.
  • Filtrar medios en condiciones estériles durante las diferentes fases del cultivo a los fermentadores o contenedores, e inocular células a los fermentadores,
  • Transferir y centrifugar el cultivo celular para su clarificación al tanque de recogida.
  • Asegurar que las condiciones del proceso se ajustan en todo momento a las especificaciones.
  • Documentación correcta de todas las actividades asociadas al proceso, cumpliendo en todo momento los
  • procedimientos operativos y normativa GMP.

Principales requisitos:

  • Ciclo formativo técnico de grado medio o superior (preferible rama técnica) y/o experiencia en actividades de producción industrial.
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 a 5 años en todos los aspectos de la producción farmacéutica o biotecnológica.
  • Dominio a nivel usuario de herramientas ofimáticas.
  • Conocimiento medio de inglés.
