Job Description Summary
This key leadership position serves as the commercial leader in support of LATAM region. Responsible for Territory Sales and Account Management, Distributor Sales and Technical Information Service and local leadership for Business Development and Account Solutions Excellence. Ultimately, this role is responsible for achieving growth and business objectives in his sales region.
Lead all sales initiatives and create and sustain competitive advantage and growth plans for the CHN LATAM Region. Develops and maintains relationships with key customers. Establishes and maintains crucial business linkages among Business Teams and Support functions and oversees strategic territory and account planning. Provides guidance to commercial team on contracting with customers and assures appropriate sales contracts are in place.
Provide planning, direction and guidance to achieve annual business growth targets – with a focus on revenue and PC2 within targeted expense budgets, including forecasting, reporting, and management of sales pipelines. Develop and execute practices that optimize sales processes and balance team resources within the region to meet the BU annual objectives
Direct regional strategic marketing initiatives, programs, promotion and monitor, collect, and disseminate market intelligence on customers, competition or threats. Represent Lonza professionally and in a safe manner at tradeshows, conferences, or external functions. Advises on potential new product and service offers Lonza´s CHN BU should add to its portfolio in order to substantially grow the business.
Provides guidance and direction to team regarding annual business objectives and focuses on coaching and professional development for/with direct reports to create a sustainable organization.
