For mammalian epithelial cells lacking a cell-type specific Amaxa™ Optimized Protocol, we offer a selection of kits that can be used to easily define optimal Nucleofection™ Conditions. The P1 and P3 Primary Cell Kits together with the cellgroup specific Basic Protocols are suited for optimizations of mammalian epithelial cells on the 4D-Nucleofector™ and the 96-well Shuttle™ System. A cell group-specific Basic Kit is suited for optimization of mammalian epithelial cells using the Nucleofector™ II/2b Device.
Example for Nucleofection™ of primary human renal proximal tubular epithelial cells
Human renal proximal tubular epithelial cells were transfected by Nucleofection™ with a plasmid encoding the green fluorescent protein, eGFP. 48 hours post Nucleofection™, cells were analyzed by fluorescence microscopy.
