Various Nucleofector™ Kits and corresponding Amaxa™ Optimized Protocols are available for the transfection of HMECs using the different Nucleofection™ Platforms. Optimal kits for transfection of HMECs in the 4D-Nucleofector™ and 96-well Shuttle™ System are the P3 Primary Cell Kits used in combination with cell-type specific protocols. For the Nucleofector™ II/2b Device and the System HMECs specific kits are available.
siRNA Nucleofection™ in HMECs show that Rit42 inhibition leads to decreased accumulation of acetylated a-tubulin and disrupts spindle fiber formation
Cells were transfected by Nucleofection™ with Rit42- or control (luciferase) siRNA. 48h after transfection, cells were co-stained with DAPI (blue), anti-α-tubulin monoclonal antibody (green), and anti-Rit42 polyclonal antibodies (red). Merged images are shown in the last column.
