We are currently looking for a Vendor Change Notification Specialist within the Supply Planning team in Lonza Biologics Porriño. In this role, you will have a medium level of responsibility and high visibility in the organization as you will work in close collaboration with other Porriño departments and Global functions groups.

You, as VCN Specialist will be take care on Vendor Change Notifications evaluation representing Supply Chain team in the VCN site group. You will carry on all required Supply Chain Activities triggered by the received VCNs. You will be the reference person within the Supply Planning team for Change Control activities, collaborating with the rest of the team (MRP Planners, Schedulers, ERP Specialists) to achieve the appropriate level of implementation in compliance with the GMP requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily collect and review of VCNs received in the site from Global Functions or Suppliers.

  • Identify the impacts of VCNs over the raw materials used in the site.

  • Lead the assigned Raw Materials evaluation process of the VCNs affecting the site.

  • Collaborate with the rest of the Supply Planning team in the Raw Materials Change Control activities.

  • Collaborate and support the Supply Planning team on cGMP Compliance activities assigned to the department.

  • Create and Maintain the Vendor Supply Chain Integrity Data in SAP.

  • Support the Vendor Complaint process.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in life sciences or technical disciplines required.

  • 0 - 5 years professional business experience.

  • Language: English (Business Fluent) and Spanish

  • Computer software skills including Microsoft Office and SAP R/3. High proficiency in MS Excel  is preferred.

  • Interpersonal skills and comfort with public speaking in front of small groups.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across local departments and other Lonza sites.
