| Lonza achieves strategic manufacturing alliance with Solvay Pharmaceuticals |
Lonza Group Ltd, the global life sciences company, today announces a strategic manufacturing alliance with Solvay Pharmaceuticals. In line with this long-term strategic cooperation, Lonza will produce an important selection of Solvay’s large volume API’s (active pharmaceutical ingredients). Before entering into this agreement Lonza and Solvay already enjoyed a successful ongoing commercial partnership. With the new strategic manufacturing alliance, Lonza will produce even further selected API’s for Solvay.
Lukas Utiger, Head of Organic Fine & Performance Chemicals and interim Head of Exclusive Synthesis, said:
