| Lonza helps the flood victims in the USA and Switzerland. |
Raging torrents and floods have inundated large areas in the southern states of the USA and also regions of Switzerland and have caused enormous material damage. Many people are afflicted with the catastrophic consequences from these storms and have had to endure immeasurable suffering.
Lonza’s Management Committee called for solidarity and promised to double the employees’ donations up to a sum of USD 25,000.
We are pleased to announce that this target has been reached. Lonza employees worldwide contributed money to several charities in order to help the flood victims in the USA and in Switzerland.
Lonza will double the employees’ amount and will transfer the respective sum of USD 25,000 to the American Red Cross and to the “Chaîne du Bonheur” in Switzerland to help assuage the suffering in the affected areas.
