    Efficient and Flexible Design for Best-in-Class Processing

    A microreactor is a device in which complex chemical reactions are performed in highly adapted micro- or milli- channels for improved process conditions. Lonza’s FlowPlate® Reactors include components for mixing, residence time, heating and cooling, to accommodate multiple reaction types and volumetric requirements. The modular design allows for flexible and consistent scale-up from the early development stage to large-scale manufacturing.   

    FlowPlate® Reactors come in four sizes, with eight different channel designs available for each size.  We also offer customized channel designs based on specific process requirements.  FlowPlate® Reactors include both milli- and micro-channel designs. This range of FlowPlate® sizes provides material quantities for development use through to multi-ton quantities.

    FlowPlate® channel designs can accommodate multiple reaction types:
